There are so many things to be grateful for when it comes to your grandparents that it’s almost impossible to count them all.
Thank you for always telling me I look great even when I look my worst.
Thank you for supplying me with endless amounts of food and peanut butter pie throughout the years.
Thank you for your wise words of wisdom and everlasting advice that has carried me through my many years of schooling and life, in general.
Thank you for never doubting me and my abilities to always succeed in the end.
Thank you for making me laugh uncontrollably with many long stories of the past and how my parents were when they were growing up.
Thank you for showing me many old pictures and walking me through all the good times that you shared together.
Thank you for always listening to my stories. Whether it be about school or me complaining about my job, you continued to sit there patiently and listen to the entire thing.
Thank you for drowning me in money and gifts over the course of my lifetime. I cannot explain how many things you’ve given me that have brought me to where I am today.
Thank you for creating the family traditions that eventually I will carry over into my children’s lives in the future and so on after them.
Thank you for being my support system. It wouldn’t matter how many games I lost or times I messed up, you were the ones to always pick me up when I was down. In your eyes, I was always a winner and always the best at anything I did, and I can’t even say how much that really means to me.
Thank you for the all of the hugs and kisses where at the time I felt like I was being squeezed to death, but really now I live for those moments every time I come and visit.
Thank you for relying on me as you get older and letting me help you with daily things, in return for everything you’ve done for me growing up.
Most of all, thank you for loving me the most and for bringing an incredible amount of joy into my life. You are so loved and if I can be able to even give you back a quarter of what you’ve given me, I’d be a very happy girl.
