A Thank You To The Dad Who Doesn't Hear It Enough

Dad thank you for all that you do. Thank you is not said enough to you. You truly do it all. You work countless days and nights to give me the best life you possibly can, and I greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for teaching me almost everything I know. Thank you for teaching me to walk, ride a bike, drive a car, and everything in between. If it weren’t for you and mom being such amazing parents, I don’t know what I would have done in life. I see so many people who did not grow up in such a loving environment like I did and it makes me even more grateful to have you and mom as my parents.

Thank you for always supporting me no matter what. From you standing at the sidelines at each and every soccer game; cheering for me even though I had no clue what I was doing, to watching me play tennis in high school and driving me to my lessons at 6am. Thank you. Even though we are now almost 200 miles apart you are still supporting me with every decision I make.

Thank you for always being there for me to talk to. No matter what time it is you are always there to talk to. Thank you for always asking how my day is and for always checking in on me and asking me what you can do to help make my life easier.

Thank you for always teaching me life lessons along the way. You try and share your knowledge with my sister and I so we can become successful in life.

Thank you for being such a good husband to mom and such a great father to me and Brenda. We are a lot to handle sometimes!

Thank you for always believing in me. Sometimes I don’t believe in myself and you are always there to prove me otherwise. You and mom have always told me to reach for the stars and to do my best because that’s all that you can do!

Thank you for taking me to countless Mets games throughout my life. If it was not for you I would not be able to understand baseball.

Thank you for loving country music almost as much as I do. If it weren’t for you mom would never let us play it. Thank you for taking to endless Luke Bryan concerts all over the country.

Thank you for putting up with my shopping addiction and always getting me the best clothes.

Thank you for being you. You are truly the best father in the entire world. Thank you for shaping me into the person that I am today. Thank you for everything dad!
