Dear Mom,
First off, I love you so incredibly much. You have the sweetest soul, the bravest and most humble heart, and an optimistic spirit I would die to have. I'm so incredibly blessed that you are my mom, and I want to publicly thank you for being you.
You have helped me through the toughest of times. The times when my insecurities got the best of me, when people meddled their way into my head, or something just didn't work out, one thing always always remained constant, and that was you. You always bring the optimistic side out in me, and have taught me the art of letting go (even though I'm not that great at it). Even when things happen that affect both of us, you always are my rock. I hope that some day, I will not only provide that for my children, but return the favor to you.
Not only have you helped me through the toughest of days, but you've encouraged and supported me through some of the best times of my life. Whenever I have something going on for school, I can always count on you being there without hesitation. People can always pick you out in a crowd because of how big your smile is when I am performing, getting inducted into yet another club, or walking across the stage at graduation. You're my number one cheerleader in my corner that I can always count on, and you're never afraid to encourage me or anyone for that matter.
You're the best advice giver. If I run into something with absolutely no idea what to do, you always find a way to guide me in the right direction without forcing me to go one way or the other. No matter what route I choose to take, you support it. I take advantage of your endless support sometimes, but I will never be anything less than beyond grateful for your support.
The most important thing that I want to thank you for is for being my best friend. I don't see how people in this world can survive without their best friend, and mine just so happens to be the person who gave me life. Your unconditional love and appreciation towards me is remarkable, and I appreciate it more than anything in this world. You always go out of your way to be "Mama Bear" to make sure I was always taken care of, safe, and overall okay. You've given me a life that is so much more than I could've ever imagined, and I thank you for that. I hope to return the favor one day, but I could never be half the woman you are.
Thank you for loving my goofy self, being my best friend, and most importantly, being the best mom in the world.
I love you more than my luggage!
Love,
Your daughter
