You know how it goes, you get so close with someone that you just expect them to know how important that they are to you. The two of you have a love/ hate relationship and it is easy to forget to make sure they know how much they mean to you. It could be your sibling, your boyfriend, your best friend, or your parents.
You may get frustrated with them sometimes, and I know that sometimes they make you want to pull your hair out, but regardless, you know that they are your favorite people in the world. You may bicker with them like no other, but at the end of the day, they're the ones that are going to be there to lift you up, and I feel that it is important for us to constantly do the same.
Sure, the love that you have for them is implied, but there is no greater feeling than being reassured and lifted up by someone that you love. Your friend may be having a rough day and it seems like they're struggling a little bit more today. Text them and just remind them how happy you are to have a friend like them. Call your mom out of the blue to remind her how amazing of a person she is and how much you love her. A lot of this life is uncertain, and it's important to make sure they know how big of a fan you are of them.
It's never a bad time to remind someone that you love them, and you certainly can't say it too much. In the middle of an argument, when you aren't seeing eye to eye, when you go to sleep, when you're laughing uncontrollably together, or when you're just sitting in silence because the two of you are tired of each others presence. Be a support system to them. Make sure you're strengthening them instead of weakening them. Give them confidence when they're feeling low. Let the ones you love the most know just how wonderful they are, because, lets be honest, a majority of the time we are super hard on ourselves and need some reassurance.
You know you wouldn't be where you are now without the love that these people give you, so don't forget to give them that love back. Even though they know you love them, never take them for granted. Tell them you love them.
