Syllabus week is amongst us. The week where all college students reassess their plans for the future after seeing what the semester has to offer. This week will either make or break the upcoming semester. Here's 10 things all college students face during syllabus week.
1. "I'm actually going to be organized this semester."
New books, new classes, new you. Time to get organized and ace this semester.
2. Walking into class and not recognizing anyone.
Where do I sit? What do I do?

3. Looking at the syllabus and already considering dropping out.
Homework every night, ten tests, quizzes and a final project? No thanks.
4. "Attendance isn't mandatory"
Nap time.
5. Or the dreaded "You're allowed 1 unexcused absence before losing points."
Better plan my "sick days" wisely.
6. When you realize the class you're in isn't anything like what you thought you signed up for.
This is nothing like the course description. So when's the last day to drop out?
7. "We will be having a lesson after we discuss the syllabus"
This is so honestly so rude.
8. "You cannot wait until the last minute to do the assignments"
Ha, procrastination is my middle name.
9. "Your lowest grade will be dropped/replaced."
This is truly a blessing. "So I know I can bomb this test as long as I get a 100 on the final."
10. "Okay class, here's your assignment due next class."
Alright professor, let's slow down now. It's too soon for this.
