Summer is almost over but there is still time to end the summer in a joyous way! Having a BBQ to end it off with great friends and family is one way! However, being prepared for BBQ can be a bit challenging. First you have to pray that you will get good weather during the weekend. Then its time to invite your family and friends, I have a huge family so we already make up a party.
Then make a checklist on what types of food to make. My family usually just goes the traditional way with burgers and hot dogs. We also make our own traditional Pakistani food as well, so having your own cultural food can put a great twist to your BBQ!
However, while preparing a nice juicy burger, it's best to marinate the meat the night before.
Although, if there is food, you’re going to need drinks! Making cool fruity refreshing drinks can be fun, or you can just go the simple way and drink soda and water.

With all this food and drinks you’re going to need plastic ware. Don’t forget to buy plastic, plates, cups, silverware, and napkins.
Now for grilling the meat, say you have not did have a BBQ in awhile, or if your BBQ is dirty from the last one you had. Cleaning your BBQ, the simplest way is to cut an onion in half and start scrubbing your grill. Your grill will be looking clean and almost new.

My family has a charcoal grill, so we obviously use charcoal. However, we recently discovered a charcoal “easy light”. It saves up half the time with just regular charcoals.
The sun sets and its starting to get dark outside, you are going to need some source of light. My family puts up these Christmas white lightbulbs around our deck. We also have a tiki torch to bring more light around us.
Now that everyone is hanging outside, expect to get bit by mosquitoes and have other uninvited bugs coming to your BBQ. I have this candle, which usually keeps the mosquitoes away. It stays lit throughout the whole BBQ.

Once everyone digests there food and we are all hanging out. It is time for dessert. I have to say S’mores is the best way to go. We light up the fire in the charcoal grill again and start roasting not only each other verbally, but our marshmallows as well.

I also love eating cold watermelon; it feels light and refreshing after eating all that delicious food.
Having a BBQ feels like one of those perfect nights where you just hang with family and friends. You let the night go on until everyone is getting into their food coma and wants their nice warm bed. You make new memories and laugh at the old ones. With good food and company, expect a great BBQ to end your summer.
