When people think of suicide there first thought is: "why?"

Then after why they think to themselves and say that: "that person must have been so screwed up because they ended their life."

People think negatively of suicide and don't understand the real concern for it. People don't become suicidal just instantly. Things build up and finally that person has been brought to their breaking point and all they can think of is leaving this world because it's there only option. Well it's not the only option. Through experience I have learned that suicide is not the only option. Taking yourself out of this world won't help solve your problems. It will create more disruption within that person's life and will cause more harm and hurt to the people they love and care about when they commit suicide. Suicide is not the only option or the last resort. Things will and can get better and people have shown that. But to all the people who don't see that and all they want to do is give up I tell you please don't and consider the other options. Think about all the hurt you will cause. Yes there are people out there who put people down who have suicidal thoughts and that's because they don't understand what people with those thoughts go through. But that doesn't stop people from doing anything. People still recover and get better and lose those thoughts especially when they consider other options. So to those who have thoughts about suicide, there are more options than taking your life. There are other people out there willing to help you and willing to make everything better for you. Suicide is not an option.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
