Thank you for everything you have done to help enhance our community. Whether it’s on campus or in the community around us, the work you’ve done has been amicable and often left unrecognized by others. Whether your work is recognized or not, it is truly appreciated every way possible.
You work around the clock to make sure everything is ready on campus for the latest event or make sure every student's voice is being heard. You often work more hours than you should and sometimes find yourself putting these activities before your schoolwork.
Being a student leader on campus has become your pride and joy. You often pull all-nighters working on projects and homework to make sure you get everything done. You're dedicated to your work and won’t stop until everything is completed to your standards.
Helping others in any way you possibly can is in your nature. You’ve grown up volunteering and can’t imagine a life without it. You always find yourself to volunteer when someone asks for assistance and you make it your first priority to complete it. If you see someone struggling, you are always the first to extend a helping hand.
You are a role model to all other students on campus. Whether you realize it or not, you are being watched all the time. You are living in a fish bowl and there’s no escaping. Living in a fish bowl can be one of the most challenging experiences you encounter in your college career. Whether you are on campus, off campus with friends or even at home, there is always someone watching you. They're looking up to you for advice and inspiration.
To the individuals who inspired me to become a student leader, thank you. Your hard work and dedication haven't been left unnoticed. Without you guiding me in the right direction and showing me the ways, I wouldn’t have become the individual I am today.
Being a student leader has been one of the most amazing opportunities I could have been offered. There is nothing I would do differently or change about the opportunities I have been given. I am beyond grateful for the friends that I have met and the individuals whose paths I’ve crossed in this journey.
