The 14 Struggles Of Moving

1. Searching for somewhere new to live and dealing with realtors and landlords and Craigslist adds.

2. Trying to act like you know exactly what you're doing when you sign your lease, but actually having no idea what you're doing because you've never ever done this before.

3. Having no where to sleep until the day you can move into your new place, unless you beat the system and figure out how to have two houses in one day, which, in that case, you go, Glenn Coco.

4. Attempting to contain your excitement the moment you walk into your new place.

5. Immediately realizing that you don't have any of your belongings in your new place and having no idea how you're going to begin moving all your stuff.

6. Looking at all of your things and realizing that it's going to take a lot more time and effort than you thought to move all of it to your new place.

7. Being on your fifth trip loading boxes in and out of your car and not even being able to see the back of your storage unit yet.

8. Trying to fit large and heavy items through doorways.

9. Getting something halfway through before you realize it's not going to fit.

10. Forgetting that after you get all of your boxes into the house, you have to unpack them all.

11. Calling all your friends to come help you unpack and suddenly they're all busy.

12. Trying to furnish your new home.

13. Going grocery shopping to fill your empty fridge.

14. Trying to get it all done and remain calm throughout the process.

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
