Picture this: It's a Tuesday night, there are 40 things you have to get done before tomorrow, you're tired, and you just had a really bad day. You usually try to find the silver lining and most of the time you do. But today, you really feel like crying. There are a lot of emotions built up and you're not sure how much more you can take. Life's weighing heavy like a boulder.
So finally, you let it out. You cry. You scream. You curl up in a ball. You release the built-up stress.
But then a wave of weakness and vulnerability comes over you. You feel exposed.
I'm here to tell you that's OK.
Take it from someone who tries to be tough 24/7, you need to let out your emotions. You need to let your mind, body, and heart release the emotional energy brewing inside of you.
It does not make you weak. It does not make you vulnerable.
It makes you real.
You can be strong and tough, and you can also be real with yourself. You have to be real with yourself. Take a mental health day. Let yourself relax. Know when enough is enough, and when more is needed. Have faith in yourself and just know, you're killin' this thing called life.
It can only go up from here, friends.
