Yes, he is your president. No, there is nothing you can do about it. Please, stop broadcasting your opinions all over social media, stop fighting people with your opinion. Why do I emphasize this? Well, because it won't change anything.
I hate politics; I beg my friends stop talking about politics when I see them. I genuinely hate when people argue over politics because it's pointless to even argue. Donald Trump is your president and whatever you say will not change anything. As a student, I know whatever I say is going to be ineffectual. I know this article probably won't even be taken into consideration by many; however, I want people to understand that bad things happen in life, and we're only human. We can't do anything or try to stop these bad things from happening. Sometimes, you have to make the best out of certain scenarios, like having Trump as your president.
I agree: Trump could have a better vocabulary on social media. He isn't the best role model when he's on Twitter and he lies a lot, but I do respect that he isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. I respect that he's passionate about his job and I think it's great that he understands economics. Trump did everything in his power to win this election and look at the outcome. I know he will do everything in his power to try to 'Make America Great Again.' Although I don't agree with how he broadcasts his ideas, I think it's awesome that he's trying to come up with reasoned security ideas.
Please, relax, everyone. Trump has only been in office for a short period of time. I beg you guys to please give him a chance; let's see what he does. If he makes a fool out of himself, so be it; we won't vote for him for a second term.
I applaud that women and men fight incessantly to gain women's rights. It's not Trump's fault that women have never been treated equally. He probably should not have said any of the terrible things he had said in the past, but we can't change the past. Life isn't fair, and it truly is unfortunate for women, but that's just life. This does not mean that I'm against women and I don't want women's rights. Trust me, I hate when people say 'she throws like a girl' or compare women to men. I hate that women aren't equal, but I understand that that's life.
Writing this article doesn't mean I'm against the LGBTQ community or Muslims, etc. I'm 100% not. I have friends who are Muslim and family members who are gay. I have respect everyone, and that includes Trump. I don't particularly agree with everything he's said, but I want to give him a chance. Life isn't fair, and in order to find happiness in life, we must learn to cope with situations and making the best of them. So please, stop the hate.
