Please Stop Considering Donald Trump

I'm serious... This isn't funny anymore.

Please Stop Considering Donald Trump

It's literally not funny anymore, guys. Stop taking Donald Trump seriously as a candidate for the presidency.

He's a misogynistic, racist jerk who really doesn't care about what happens to this country. He's not going to protect those who need protecting or help those who need help. He cares about himself and that's it.

Donald Trump is a billionaire.

Yeah, that's cool and all, but let's talk about why it's a bad thing.

He's a part of the 1 percent.

He does not know what it really means to be a hardworking, productive member of society. He doesn't know what it means to struggle make ends meet or what it really means go out and work 40 hours a week just to provide a home for his family.

He won't be able to adequately help solve the issues the majority of this country faces (the inability to afford basic healthcare, housing, or food) because he is in the minority that underpays us and makes our healthcare wildly unaffordable.

Donald Trump is racist.

With everything that's been happening in THE United States of America lately (a country that's already falling apart as it is, but my views on this terrible place aren't really important right now), I hardly think it's appropriate that we should put a racist man in office.

For some weird reason, Trump thought it was appropriate to say "[Mexico] are sending people that have lots of problems, and they are bringing those problems to us. They are bringing drugs, and bringing crime, and they are rapists."

WHY ARE YOU GUYS ON BOARD WITH HIM AFTER THIS! This was so early on that it really should have thrown up some red flags for you all because it is WRONG. He is literally saying that all Mexicans are rapists and criminals and druggies. I'm sorry, but that is a ridiculously false accusation, and I do not support it. He's blanketing an entire population and he is not even correct.

Let's also not forget that he didn't even defend President Obama when it was said he's Muslim.

He makes it so obvious that he is suffering from Islamophobia and it's not okay. Four years ago, Donald Trump launched a campaign that was basically designed to pressure Obama into releasing his birth certificate and threatened to send people to Hawaii just to find out the truth.

Trump said in 2011, "He doesn't have a birth certificate. He may have one, but there's something on that, maybe religion, maybe it says he's a Muslim," as if being Muslim is some terrible thing.

One of Trump's supporters said "We know our current president is [Muslim]. You know he's not even an American... Anyway, we have training camps growing where they want to kill us... What's my question: When can we get rid of them?"

...and we all know he doesn't mean get rid of the camps.

Trump lets this crap happen and then even gets on Twitter like a child when people get upset with him for not defending Obama. He goes on a tweeting spree like a middle schooler and you expect this man to handle our country? He can't even handle himself!

We live in a country that does not have an official religion for a reason, friends. Just keep that in mind next time these candidates insert their religious views into a debate.

Donald Trump hates women.

He has called women "fat pigs," "dogs," "slobs," and "disgusting animals." I don't care who you are, that is not right.

He tweeted on May 7, 2013 and said, "26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?" As if that is the only thing that will happen when you put men and women together.

In 1991, he told "Esquire" "It doesn't really matter what [the media] write as long as you've got a young and beautiful piece of ass."

Excuse me?

Let's also not forget when Trump called a woman (one who was a lawyer and facing him in court) "disgusting" and ran from the courtroom when she asked if they were allowed to break so she could breastfeed her infant daughter.

I'm sorry, but that is a natural part of life. You are going to support a man who thinks breastfeeding is disgusting? And it wasn't even the breastfeeding that he called disgusting, but the woman herself. He literally shamed a woman for feeding her daughter.

Also:

This one speaks for itself really.

His first line of defense when it comes to women is always to insult their looks. He said that in order to make it far on "The Apprentice" as a woman, you must be attractive and have sex appeal.

He thinks all we're good for is our looks and our bodies. He has shamed women over and over and over again, y'all. You want a man who hates women in office when we are the majority in this country? No.

His first wife said he made her feel violated during sex.

He said he would date his daughter if she wasn't his daughter... WHICH IS JUST WEIRD. You do not say things like that if you are a sane human being.

He told a contestant on "The Apprentice" that she would look good on her knees.

When a woman confronts him for his heinous actions, he accuses her of being on her period.

He isn't mature.

You expect this man to lead our country, but he is spiteful and immature.

His defense against illegal immigrants? Build a wall. As if that will really help anything.

He has very little respect for anyone, actually. During debates, he constantly makes faces and brushes off what each candidate is saying. These are people in the same party as him and he can't even give them an ounce of respect.

Remember when is whole argument against abortion was "Well, I know someone who wasn't aborted." Because how can you forget that gem?

He's a lot like that kid who sits towards the back of the class and constantly forces the attention on himself by being disruptive and saying things under his breath to be funny.

But Donald Trump is not trying to be funny. He is actually serious and that's the scariest thing.

Guys, it's literally not funny anymore. The elections are in a little over a year, and you guys need to start getting serious about who you really want as the leader of this country.

Get Trump out now or we will be in for a rude awakening if he is actually elected president. It's kind of scary that he's made it this far and that there are people who actually support him.

Stop it. I understand not wanting to go Democrat (Go Bernie, though), but at least get serious about your Republican candidate.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
