The first time I heard this song playing on the radio, I was stunned. I was stunned by the simple, yet so complex lyrics of, “Always stay humble and kind”. Driving, reminiscing on my life as a kid, thinking about all the words of wisdom from family members, teachers and friends have given me, but this one is by far the most simply true one yet.

I listened to this song the first time in my car, alone and blaring the music loud, it hit hard. Keeping on with my route, I got to thinking. This song in some way or another has saved me.
