Start saving up because Starbucks will be raising their prices by one percent nationwide. The price increase will likely occur in some of the coffee company's more popular beverages.
If you live in Seattle, you will be even more bummed out because 300 stores in the Greater Seattle area will increase prices by 3.5 percent. Inflation at the Seattle locations will have more of an impact on those who purchase brewed coffee. It is likely that they will be paying between 10 and 20 cents more per cup of joe. A tall latte will total out to 30 cents per cup, a nearly 10 percent hike.
But, it's not all bad news. In an effort to soften the blow Starbucks will be offering cold brew nationwide!

If you've heard about it, but haven't been able to try---you will now have the chance. A cold brew costs about 50 to 60 percent more than your traditional iced coffee, but there is an upside. Since the taste of cold brew is less bitter than your regular iced coffee, and has a natural sweetness to it, you won't have to add any extra sugar.
Which let's face it, is definitely a selling point as we get deeper and deeper into bikini season.
