Every year thousands of college students across the nation travel to a variety of destinations for a spring break trip. Whether you’re traveling to South Padre Island (Texas), Colorado, a road trip, Gulf Shores, Mexico, or even across the world, there are some essential necessities that every spring breaker needs no matter the destination. I made a list of the six items that any spring breaker cannot go without -- enjoy!
1. Find My Friends: Enable it. Use it. You will be thankful! Whether you are on the beach with your friends for a week or even traveling to an exotic destination, this will become very useful for you being able to find your friends and for your friends being able to find you! Crazy things can happen, so safety first.
2. Cheap Sunglasses: Save those Ray Bans for the summer vacation to Malibu with your family or parents. Bring one or two pairs of cheap sunglasses because they are bound to get broken, lost, scratched and everything in between!
3. Water Bottle: Whether you are headed to the beach or climbing up a mountain, a reusable water bottle is very handy so you don’t get dehydrated throughout the long days filled with a variety of activities.
4. Fanny Pack: As much as these can be awkward and not the cutest, they are way better than being that girl who loses her phone and wallet. It is a nice way to embark on the beach or a mountain being hands-free and being able to enjoy the moment without worrying about losing any of your belongings.
5. Advil: This can be a necessity in many cases, so definitely bring some on your spring break trip! Whether you are sunburnt, have a headache, had a rough night, or even get carsick, Advil can make it all a little better!
6. Your Best Friends: It is always fun to meet new people on spring break adventures, but there is nothing better than embarking on a week with your best friends who have your back and are there to make lifelong and fun filled memories with you!
No matter the destination, these six spring break essentials are sure to make your week a little better by coming prepared and ready to have a good time! Having the right essentials by your side, along with some fun and your best friends, will make the week memory filled … and could maybe even be a learning experience for some. So cheers to spring break!
