As the school year sadly comes to an end, we all need to start taking in every moment that we have with our college friends. In about two weeks, we won't be waking up to each others faces, eating every meal together, and spending every waking second together. It's going to be a hard adjustment, as we all will have separation anxiety. While we all absorb the lasting days we have together, we realize the great appreciation that we have for one another. Maybe you didn't quite get around the appreciation part just yet, so here's something to help.
Dearest friends, thank you for:
1. Giving me 100 new outfits to accumulate over the year.
2. Forgiving me when I don't return your belongings on time, in the proper condition, or at all.
3. Telling me when an outfit doesn't really match and saving me from social suicide later that night.
4. Complimenting me when you can tell I need it.
5. Fixing my makeup when we're out, I'm sweaty, and my makeup is all over my face.
6. All the bathroom runs, even when you don't gotta go.
7. Paying my cover at TT...
8. Pulling me away from that boy that I CANNOT hook up with.
9. Being my wing man, or wing girl.
10. Picking me up the morning after, or even in the middle of the night.
11. Not judging me, and for always rooting me on.
12. Shutting off my lights when I'm in the comfiest spot and I don't want to get up.
13. The surprise Diet Coke you got me when you went to get food.
14. Holding my hair back.
15. Holding my hand as you hold my hair back.
16. Driving me to class.
17. Driving me to get food.
18. Driving me to the doctor.
19. Driving me to CVS when I was sick, so I could pick up my antibiotics.
20. Taking care of me when I was sick.
21. Being my mom for the week, always checking in while I was sick.
22. Being my mom again, helping me make decisions, and supporting me the whole way through.
23. Being my dad when I needed a push of encouragement to ace that test.
24. Being my family while I'm away from my own.
25. That hug I needed when I was about to break down.
26. Always looking out...
27. All of the laughs that turned into tears.
28. Turning my tears into laughs.
29. Making me pee my pants from laughter.
30. Adding to my college experience...
31. Making the studying, the homework, and the stress, all worth it because I get to be with you.
32. Giving me the best college life ever.
33. Giving me the opportunity to say "I have the best school friends, I feel bad for everyone who doesn't go here.".
34. Being the reason that I don't want to leave.
35. Being you.
