The Spartans struggled but quickly found a rhythm leading to a 3-0 lead at half.

MSU would push the lead further with another Matt Coughlin kick from 28 yards out, but ASU would add one of their own before the end of the third quarter. Brian Lewerke found Cody White for a 31-yard touchdown pass and would finally put the Spartans in double digits, 13-3.

The Sun Devils would hold the Spartans to a scoreless fourth quarter by adding a field goal, a Manny Wilkins connection to N'Keal Harry for a 27-yard touchdown, tying the game at 13 with 8:45 left in the game.

The Spartans had some questionable plays and would end up giving ASU the ball with less than two minutes to go. ASU's Brandon Ruiz would kick the game-winning field goal as the clock hit zero, sealing the deal for the Sun Devils.

The Big 10 is 0-10 against Arizona State in Tempe. Brian Lewerke finished the game 27-39 for 314 yards and 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Connor Heyward would lead on the ground with 5 carries for 22 yards and Cody White lead in the air with 9 receptions for 113 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Spartans will travel back to East Lansing and have their bye week, which means there's no game for MSU on Saturday, but you can be sure they will be watching plenty of films this week.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
