No one ever said that exams would bring out the best in you. In fact, if you're anything like me, this stress is probably bringing out the very worst in you.

So here's a tip: Try listening to some music while you study. It might lift your spirits just enough to make the week bearable. Choose mellow, slow, or acoustic songs that won't distract you but will instead relax you.

If you're not sure where to start or don't feel like making a playlist yourself, I've put together a list of my favorite songs to listen to while I'm trying to focus on hitting the books. This combination of 90s/early 2000s throwbacks and today's pop hits is sure to make studying feel at least a bit less awful.

1. "Best Thing I Never Had" by Megan & Liz

2. "Fast Car" by Kina Grannis

3. "Shattered (Turn The Car Around)" by OAR

4. "XO" by John Mayer

5. Let Love In by The Goo Goo Dolls

6. Name by The Goo Goo Dolls

7. Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls

8. "The Worry List" by Blue October

9. "How Far We've Come" by Matchbox Twenty

10. "3AM" by Matchbox Twenty

11. "Fix You" by Coldplay

12. "Collide" by Howie Day

13. "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5

14. "Won't Go Home Without You" by Maroon 5

15. "Wake Me Up" by Ed Sheeran

16. "Perfect" by One Direction

17. "Wonderwall" by Oasis

18. "Champange Supernova" by Oasis

19. "Amnesia" by Five Seconds of Summer

20. "Beside You" by 5 Seconds of Summer

21. "Show Me Love (America)" by The Wanted

If you want to give these songs a shot, I've put them together in a playlist on Spotify.

And if this doesn't make you the most productive, hopefully you at least smiled.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
