Personally, I am a firm believer in always voicing your emotions, so every day should be the day you tell people you love them. So when this time of year comes around where everything is red and heart shaped it is the perfect time to jam out to some love songs. Also to listen to any these songs click on the picture!

The smooth string intro already makes me want to dance around a ballroom and sway to the music. The majestical duet is not only a testament to this couple's talent and love, but also this song shows how love has no bounds. Love can even beat death. The title while somber it states how true love can beat everything even death. This song summons my inner romantic while also giving me a beautiful ballad to sway to under the stars.

2. "Die A Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett

Well being a girl who has been born and raised in the South y 'all had to expect a country song to make it on this list. This song is about how all he needs in life is the love of his life which just melts my heart. This song makes me want to walk across the beach and sing to this song all day. It is the perfect track for this Valentines season or for me every season.

This band has many songs that make my heart skip a beat. This one, in particular, brings to mind me and someone I love running away to travel the world. This song makes me jump up and down and dance all night while dreaming of far off places. The idea of being able to drop everything in life and just go somewhere new with someone you love is the most romantic thing in the world, or at least I believe it to be.

4. "Jackie and Wilson" by Hozier

This song makes my heart race not only because it is a romantic song about how the girl he loves saves him also because the first time I heard this song the boy I was head over heels for showed it to me. This song reminds me of sitting in the parking lot of my school talking to this boy who I thought didn't even know my name. He and I talked about music for as long as I could remember until I had to go back home. While that conversation did not lead to what I thought would happen it did give me an amazing memory along with a good friend.

5. "Can't Help Falling in Love with You" by Elvis Presley

Elvis is the singer who in my mind has the most beautiful love songs of all time. This song, in particular, is one of his most famous love ballads since it was in the movie Blue Hawaii. The song starts out with Elvis playing his ukulele and singing this to his girlfriend. His charismatic smile and smooth voice melt me every time I hear this beautiful song. This classic declaration of love through song has been revered in the hearts and minds of the world for decades, and I am one of those people. This song calls on my inner romantic once again to spring forward and start daydreaming once again.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
