Procrastinating on a 10-page Psychology paper? Sick of the droning of professors Zoom lectures? Stressed out? Overwhelmed? Instead of eating your feelings, try to "Stress Bake" them out of your system.

It is a known fact that everyone LOVES receiving packages, so check in on your friends during these uncertain times and send them some 'Slutty Brownies!'

Slutty brownies are three rich layers of sinful, sexy yumminess, loaded with sugar and fat, the ultimate baked good!

These are easy to make with only three ingredients that can be purchased at any grocery store. Slutty Brownies are also sturdy…meaning they ship well and won't crack the way cookies do.

I've been mailing care packages to my friends in college for years. Taking a few minutes to send out care packages is a nice and easy way to show friends that you care and are thinking of them!

Care packages are crucial for college students, especially during midterm and finals season.

Obviously, they are a fantastic surprise to receive at any point, but in my experience, receiving a package during a rough week of studying or gearing up for some exams is one of the best feelings in the entire world!

I tend to send out quite a few packages all at once, so I bake about three to four trays of slutty brownies at a time, but honestly one to two 9x13 trays may be more than enough for all of your friends.

Let's get started…

Ingredients:

·1 box Brownie mix

·1 package Chocolate chip cookie dough

·1 package of Oreos

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°

2. Place a sheet of parchment paper inside pan and spray with cooking spray to ensure the brownies will release

3. Press cookie dough into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan

4. Place a layer of Oreos on top of the cookie layer

5. Prepare brownie layer -follow the instructions on the brownie mix box

6. Pour the brownie batter over the Oreos and cookie dough layers

7. Pop in the oven for about 40-45 minutes. Sometimes it takes longer, just keep an eye on it and test with a knife or toothpick if the center is done.

8. Let the brownies rest until cool. At least an hour (so the brownies don't crack—if they do end up cracking, throw some powdered sugar on top to cover the blemishes)

Shipping Supplies:

·Your choice of flat rate box (I suggest: $7.65 Small Flat Rate Box it's a little small, but more than enough brownies for one person)

·White paper

·Colored construction or matting paper

·Glue stick

OK. Now that the brownies are done, grab some plastic quart sized bags and start packing those babies up.

My favorite part is typing out a little message to send to the receivers. Take some construction paper or matting paper and use a glue stick to matte the message on the brightly colored paper. It adds a nice pop to the box! Afterwards, sometimes I will add a written note if I want to say something more personalized, but if you are in a time crunch just pack the box and drop off at the post office.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
