Those Six Guys You Meet In College

Boys. Probably the one thing we hate and love the most. As soon as you get to know one, you can usually group him into a specific category. Take a look, and he'll pop in your head when you read it.

1. The Frat Boy

Be prepared to be wasted all the time when you're with him. No matter the day or the time, he will always find a reason to throw a party or have a drink. His brothers will come before you. He's dependent on his pledges, so if you are hanging around him, a pledge brother is lingering nearby. If you lose him, don't worry. You can always find him at happy hour wearing those beloved Chubby's and Sperry's.

2. The F*** Boy

He's the most dangerous of them all. The f*** boy can fit into more than one of these categories, but for all extensive purposes, let's give him his own group. He will fill your life with excitement and temporary happiness. He will open your eyes to new things and make you believe that you actually have a chance. However, be warned. He is too good to be true. He will always keep you second guessing. He will keep secrets from you and only have you around until someone he thinks is better comes his way. If you catch him in a lie all he will do is deny, deny, deny. He will rob you of your happiness and make you never want to talk to another boy again.

3. The Nerd

He is pretty much studying all the time. He will ask why you aren't studying too. Your dates will consist of studying in the library or reading to each other in bookstores. He will make you feel like you are going nowhere because you know he is going to do big things. You find yourself asking how he could be so motivated to study all the time.

4. The Athlete

He is only focused on playing the game. He plays girls almost as much as he plays his sport. All his time is spent practicing and staying in shape. You almost feel bad going out to eat with him, as you look from your plate to his. He is most likely eating something healthy while you are sitting across from him eating your life away. He thinks that he is better than everyone and never puts time into his school work. If only his grades were as high as his ego.

5. The Stage-five Clinger

Why is it always the ones you don't want? You know this guy, the one who texts you nonstop asking to hangout. You have pretty much used every excuse in the book to avoid seeing him. When you see him on campus, you try your hardest to stay clear of his sights or to keep your head down. But once he sees you, and you know he always does, good luck getting rid of him. You feel bad for being a bitch, but unfortunately, he is just too annoying and clingy for your likings.

The Unicorn

He is the one in a million type of guy. No, he is the one in five billion type of guy. You will wonder why you even gave any other guy a chance. He will bring joy to your life and shower you with love every moment of the day. He will go out of his way just to make sure you keep your smile on your face. He will always remind you how important you are and he will bring out the best in you. He will hold you in the warmth of his arms and protect you from your fears. You will never have to fight for his attention or question his love for you. He is the one to hold on to and never let go of. Does he even exist? Well, I will let you know when I find out.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
