The year that seemed so far away is finally about to be here: Senior year of college. We thought that we had so much time left, and now we only have one year to have the best time of our lives before we enter the "real world." Here is my list of 17 (for our graduation year) things that I am vowing to do with my friends throughout the next year!

1. Revisit our past hangout spots.

From our freshman year residence hall, to the creek that we used to study next to on the warm days, this is our last year to be able to regularly visit these spots! It will give us the chance to reminisce in our favorite spots from the on-campus living days.

2. Eat on campus more.

While dining hall food can get old pretty quickly, we've already paid for it. This is the last year that we'll ever be able to go grab a meal without having to worry about having cash or money in our bank account for it. Plus, I know we'll all miss Raider Bowl Wednesdays and Taco Tuesdays once we graduate!

3. Write letters to each other.

Even though I know we'll all stay in touch after graduation, it will be nice to have something from each other to be able to look at when we, inevitably, have to be apart.

4. Pull an all-nighter together.

And not because of homework. Netflix, DIY face masks, junk food... And maybe some wine, too.

5. Have a graduation photo shoot.

In our caps and gowns, of course.

6. Go to every frat.

Just because this is the last year where it's acceptable to do so.

7. Actually go to a football game.

I haven't been to a football game in almost two years, and that's actually really sad. So I'm vowing to go to one with my friends this year!

8. Have a real Spring Break.

Even if it's just to Ocean City, we're definitely spending our spring break actually doing something instead of sitting at home, since it's our last chance to.

9. Go on a road trip.

To literally anywhere.

10. Go to a concert.

Even if it's just to whoever is coming to campus this year, I definitely want to experience at least one more concert during my college years.

11. Go on a bar crawl.

This is a must since we're finally all 21.

12. Do community service.

So we can give back to the school that gave so much to us.

13. Go in the fountain.

I mean, you have to at least once, right?

14. Take a class that's just for fun.

Like stress management, because you know we'll all need to have that skill post-grad.

15. Have no regrets.

Stop saying no (unless it's something you're uncomfortable with doing, of course). It's our senior year and it's the last year we have to spend with each other. You'll finish that paper before it's due.... Go to the bar on a week night, go on a spontaneous road trip and stay up all night with your best friends. Those are the things you're going to remember from college, not sitting in the library writing a paper.

16. Do a karaoke night somewhere.

Preferably a karaoke bar, because I don't know how I feel about doing karaoke in front people while I'm sober.

17. GRADUATE!

How did we get here this quickly?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
