I know better than anyone how stressful college can be. On top of full-time college, I also work full-time. How do I do it? I honestly have no idea.

That being said, as stressed as you and I are, we need to remember to take care of ourselves. Lucky for you, here are 10 self-care tips you can do in the comfort of your own home!

1. Take a bubble bath.

Baths are universally proven to make anyone feel more relaxed!

2. Drink some wine.

Add a glass of wine to your bubble bath (if you're 21 and older of course).

3. Take a day off.

Your mental health is more important than you may realize. Taking one day off won't kill you.

4. Get a massage.

One of my favorite ways to destress is getting a massage. I mean, who doesn't like massages?

5. Play with your pets.

If you're lucky enough to have a cute pup or two, take advantage and play with them! Makes them happy and you!

6. Spend some time with your friends and family.

Don't forget the support system you already have right in front of you! Hit up a friend, hang out with your parents! Do something active that'll take your mind off things for a bit.

7. Read a book.

Escape reality by simply opening up a good book!

8. Clean your room.

I know, I know. Who willingly cleans their room, right? Trust me, it's a great stress reliever. A cluttered space equals a cluttered mind. Plus, it's better than doing your homework, right?

9. Clean your whole house.

While you're at it, why not make your mom happy and just clean the whole house?

10. Take a nap.

When all else fails, take a nap. That's my favorite way to rejuvenate and forget about everything for awhile.

When I was a child, I used to look forward to Memorial Day Weekend from the time I returned to school after Christmas vacation. It was the yearly benchmark announcing the end of the school year and the beginning of summer vacation. It meant I was one step closer to regattas, swim meets and tennis matches.

I remember how exciting summer was when I was a kid. I would just be eagerly waiting for school to end so that I could fly to some exotic location with my family for the summer. Or hang out with my friends every day. Or just lay around in bed or read, paint, draw, basically do whatever.
