Have you ever attempted to try secret menu items, but you were not sure if it was worth it? Well, two of my friends, Miranda and Julia, and I decided to try some items for you. This past Sunday, we hit the road in my little Buick and went on our way. We stopped at three places and tested five items. Here are the results...

First stop was McDonald's. There we tested the "McGang-Bang" burger and the apple pie McFlurry.

The "McGang-Bang"- $3

The McGang-Bang is when you put the McDouble together with the McChicken. When I ordered it, I got one McChicken and one McDouble and we just put them together. This was a hit for all three of us and will definitely be getting it in the future. We give the McGang-Bang a 10/10! It was totally worth every penny.

The Apple Pie McFlurry-$4

This picture shows you how good this is. It basically tastes like apple pie with vanilla ice cream. We also gave this one a 10/10. When we ordered it, they did not want to put the pie in it for us so we manually did it, but it was worth it!

Next stop was to Starbucks where we tried the Thin Mint frappe and the Pink Drink.

Thin Mint Frappe-$5

This drink was honestly awful and got only a 3/10. It tasted nothing like a thin mint. (Well at first it did a bit, but then it had a very strong green tea after taste.) Not to mention it was not pretty. We strongly do not recommend trying it. Here is how to order it if you want to:

The "Pink Drink"-$4

This drink was so much better than the thin mint drink! It received a 9/10 and is something I will order in the future. Miranda was not a big fan of this drink but Julia and I strongly recommend it.

Here is how to order it:

Dorito's Loco Crunch Wrap Supreme-$4

Last stop was Taco Bell, where we had the Dorito's Loco Crunch Wrap Supreme. (Yes, you heard that right!) The wrap can come with a Dorito's shell of your choosing. This got a 7/10 because we felt it did not seem to taste much better than the original, Miranda ended up adding hot sauce to hers. It also cost extra to get the Dorito's shell instead of the plain. Julia and I thought it was good and is something we will consider getting in the future.

Overall this was a fun experience, and we definitely want to try this again. So it's your turn grab a group of friends, make a list, and go out and try some secret menu items!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
