Revolution Yoga & Cycle: Are You Ready for a Change?
Revolution Yoga & Cycle

For those of you who have not heard, Revolution Yoga & Cycle Studio is a new space that promotes a positive mind and body initiative that encourages you to not only love, but learn about yourself. With such bright and focused owners and instructors, Revolution will not only meet your expectations, but exceed them!

I have always felt a deep connection between my body and mind, but it was not until I experienced classes at Revolution, that I was able to be in tune with who I am on a much more profound level. Since I began attending classes, I have found that I have an urge to dig deeper into satisfying the needs of both my body and mind.

When you arrive at Revolution, you will know you are meant to be there.

Whether you are at a Restorative Yoga class with co-owners and instructors Jennifer Tuttle and Colleen McGee Schurrer, reaching deep relaxation and release, or at Rock and Soul Yoga, a rhythm based yoga class designed to let you "tap into your own flow," with Brooke Moeckly, or even a music driven cardio cycle class with Braden Bradfield, you will definitely leave wanting more! But don't let one class define each instructor, they can do it all! This group also teaches:

Yoga Sculpt, Vinyasa, Non-Heated Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Intro to Ashtanga and Hardcore.

These individuals all shared the same goal, and now they are finally able to witness their visions come to life. Their dedication to their students can be seen as they do not fail to make you feel welcomed and inspired. They continue to coach, educate, and guide many other instructors on board, as well as those who are going through training. For a full list of instructors, visit their website at:

Revolution is a space free of judgment, a space where you can be you and where you can not only celebrate your progress, but your identity as well. That is why Revolution Yoga & Cycle has partnered with Sioux Falls Pride to celebrate Pride Month by hosting two free-will donation Pride Rides this weekend. Check out their website for more information.

"We celebrate all people exactly as they are! All are welcome, especially the LGBTQ community and allies. Baby, you were born this way!"

There are countless benefits of practicing yoga, and as the Yoga Journal reports, some include: improved flexibility, building of muscle strength, perfected posture, prevention of cartilage and joint breakdown, protection of the spine, betters bone health, helps you focus, and overall adds happiness to your life.

If those are not enough reasons to join, or stop by, also note that Revolution offers discounts for students and seniors!

In addition, Revolution offers Kids Yoga and Teen Cycle classes which makes the space family friendly.

Last but not least,

Your first class is FREE!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
