So, seven weeks ago, I embarked on a potentially life-changing journey. A journey that thousands of woman across the world have begun and few that have finished. Whoops, that's a lie. Many woman have finished the journey on which I am currently on. Body Boss is the newest internet sensation sweeping the globe and I've decided to give a try. After seven weeks of hard work, determination and not to mention more than a little griping, I've come to several conclusions.

In my week 1 review of Body Boss, I complimented the creators for putting together such a comprehensive and easy to follow program. I would have to say that this accolade remains the same, if not even greater than before. Every week, the exercises get just a little harder, pushing my reluctant body a bit further from its comfort zone. Body Boss creators, I thank you for putting together such a fun and easy program, it keeps nit-wits with fruit-fly attention span entertained i.e. me.

Since starting 7 weeks ago, the circuits have definitely increased in difficulty. In the beginning, I had to do 2 circuits of 7 exercises, now I have to do 3 circuits of 7 exercises. Not that much change, you say? Tell that to my screaming muscles and my burning lungs. But don't get me wrong, it's fun every time I do it. To say that I'm a bit weird in that I like "feeling the burn" is a gross understatement. It makes me feel alive!

And as for the touted 24 minutes exercise times? (Insert hysterical laughter here) It's not exactly so much possible as it is a marketing ploy. I've come to a point where I'm okay with that. On average, it takes me about 40 minutes to complete a workout and, let me tell you, it's 40 hard-earned minutes. So if you're attracted to Body Boss for their "24 minute workouts" I would politely pass as it's all marketing.

So what about the actual difficulty of the program, you might ask? Though this program may not have the intensity of Insanity or Cross-Fit, it does have a certain level of difficulty that is not meant for the faint of heart. I have been active all throughout my life and there are mornings when I wake up with sore muscles that I didn't even know I had. As an Exercise Physiology BS Graduate, I know what I'm talking about there!

On that note, let's look at the actual results. After 4 weeks of the pre-training and 3 of the actual program, I'm pleased to say I've had some stellar results! Always a somewhat curvy girl to begin with, I've noticed that my body has started tightening, toning and slimming in areas I didn't even know I needed it. But even more exciting were the measurements.

In 7 weeks, I've lost 2 1/2 inches around my waist, 1 1/2 inches on my booty, 1/4 inch around my biceps, and 3/4 inch around my thighs. And I'm only halfway through!

Ladies, if you're up for a legitimate challenge to see just what you're made of, consider Body Boss. If you want to elevate, not only your body, but your mind and spirit to a higher playing field, consider Body Boss. Don't be afraid of what challenges you because it was what challenges us that makes us better. Be better.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
