I grew up on Disney princesses; my house literately lived on the classic Disney films. I know almost every line to the movies and I definitely know every Disney song in creation.

If you haven't seen these movies, you hurt my inner child. We all had those childhood moments when we pretended to be our favorite Disney princess. My cousins and I had many an Ariel singing competition throughout our youth.

At one point in my life I feel like I have related to every classic princess.

1. Cinderella

There have been those days when your siblings truly feel evil and seems like your mother is dumping way more responsibility on you than them; somehow everyone in your house has transformed from friend to foe. I have swept many a floor in the mind set that I was the only one being wronged and oppressed....I was a dramatic child.

2. Ariel

My parents have always been super over-protective, especially my dad, and so I can totally relate to what Ariel was going through and thinking that your parents are being completely unreasonable. I however did not run away and sell my soul to an evil sea witch.

3. Belle

We have all at one point or another felt like we don't quite fit in. Belle was a total oddity for her time and she felt alone because of it...plus I too am a total bookworm.

4. Jasmine

When plans for your future are being made around you and you feel like you have no say in your own life, or you feel pressured by what everyone thinks you need to do, it isn't hard to relate to Jasmine.

5. Aurora

Ever felt like you had no one to talk to? Or all of your friends have a significant other while your a single pringle? Aurora in a nutshell. She even sings an entire song to her forest friends about it.

6. Pocahontas

Some days it just seems like everything you touched fell apart and your world is crashing down around you. But, just like this brave native beauty, we gather our courage and fight for whatever is left.

7. Mulan

"I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed." There is nothing worse to hear from your parents. Ever. At that point I'd just rather they scream at me. Mulan felt like she had let her entire family down just because she was different...but that was before she kicked butt and saved all of China.

8. Snow White

There's really not much to relate to with this princess besides feeling the need to randomly belt out Disney songs, I suppose.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
