If you are in college, you've probably heard of the term "total sorority move," abbreviated as "TSM." This website is the unofficial holy grail for all girls from 18 - 23ish years old. It's gotten me through many moments in my college career, it's given me good laughs on bad days, made me understand that there are many people out there that are worse than me, and it's hilariously relevant to any college girl's lifestyle. You might be reading this and wondering, why is one blog site promoting another one? Well, because I can. I started thinking about moments I have in my own life that should be an article on TSM, but then I realize that I do have to be employed one day and my standards chair would kill me. So, I thought I'd take some of the more share-able moments and list all my "total sorority moves." I'm sure most of you can relate:
1. Getting pictures of all your BFF's random public make out sessions
2. Using your study abroad trip as an excuse to drink more than study in order to "get to know the culture"
3. Cuddling with him in another fraternity's shirt so he knows that you keep an open mind
4. Maintaining an A+ social life, and a 4.0 GPA
5. Having a crop top for every occasion, even the winter
6. You might not follow him on social media, but you make your Little have him on Snapchat so that he still see's how much fun you are at all times
7. Celebrating your "half birthday" because you're half a year wiser and prettier
8. Making a hipster photo shoot everywhere you go
9. Having a weird amount of t-shirts with animal faces on it
10. Cropping your face onto his date to formal's picture, because you know who he should really be with
11. Perfecting your candid and your RBF
12. Permanently tattooing a symbol of your second home on your body
13. Keeping your frenemies close and you bartenders closer
14. Making sure you take a snap with your bestie's ex fling just to promote a rekindled flame
15. Being more involved with the IFC board than the Panhellenic exec board
16. Signing up for every volunteer hour that your Big is signed up for, because she'll kill you if you don't
17. Having a "library crush" for the extra studious guy you always see in the library
18. Let's be honest, having a designated crush from each fraternity on campus
19. Purposely getting snaps with your worst enemy in the background for funsies
20. Having an ongoing list on your phone for the best dates to date parties
21. Occasionally partying harder with your Big's mom and dad than you would with your Big herself
22. Seeking every opportunity to travel with your sisters, domestically and internationally
23. Considering your Exec Board position a lifestyle rather than a job.
24. Shot-gunning in your formal dress
25. Thinking that any publicity is good publicity
26. Trying to corrupt your G-Little because grandma knows best (grandma meaning yourself)
27. Stealing his Polo caps, XL shirts, covers, really anything except his last name, because you're independent as heck
28. Making it on Old Row before graduation comes around
29. Creating a family-stacked picture in the middle of Bourbon street
30. Throwing what you know with your sorority's national president
31. Changing him from a F-boy to a boyfriend
32. Using the term "total sorority move" after you do something TSM worthy
So, there you have it, my top TSM moments in life. I would like to thank the creator of TSM for making me more "srat" and helping me understand that most college aged girls are just like myself, and I'd also like to thank my parents for not disowning me after this article.
