This past week I took a trip to my favorite place in the world (next to Chick-Fil-A.) I am, without a doubt, a city girl who lives in a suburban town in Connecticut. So a day in the Big Apple was much long overdue. I haven't been to New York since I started college and once I got there, I remembered why I love this city so much.
1. Radio City Music Hall
It's the showplace of the nation! If you haven't already been, it should on the top of your bucket list! The Radio City Rockettes will make you fall in love with this city. I promise, your face will hurt from smiling so much after the show!
2. Starbucks around every corner
No wonder why it's called the city that never sleeps! There's a Starbucks everywhere you look! But hey, you won't hear me complaining.
3. The constant hustle of the city.
You may start out walking, but once you join the crowd it's more of a fast walk. Everyone is always in a rush and I love it!
4. The people!
From the talented street performers to the busy business New Yorkers. They make NYC what it is.
5. Broadway
Wicked, The Lion King, Les Miserables, Hamilton, School of Rock and so many more.
6. Times Square
Without a doubt, the brightest location in all of NYC no matter the time of day.
7. Odyssey Office

8. The overall look of the city.
Buildings that seem to scrape the sky and yellow cars that seem to almost fly. Some may say that NYC looks dull at times and if that's the case, then call me dull because I am in so love.
9. The smell
NYC has a signature smell. It's a mix of soft pretzels and the steam from the subway. It may seem a little gross at first, but it really grows on you.
10. The Empire State Building
No words, just look.
11. Casey Neistat Lives Here
Just in case you've been living under a rock for the past three years, allow me to inform you about Casey Neistat. Casey is an American YouTube personality with 3.8 million subscribers, a filmmaker and co-founder of social media company Beme. He is known for his daily vlogs (Yes, I watch them every single day, first thing in the morning). Many of his films have gone viral on YouTube, but two of his most recent ones are Snowboarding With NYPD with over 14 million views and Pokémon Go In REAL LIFE. Needless to say, Mr. Neistat is pretty freaking awesome.
12. I finally feel like myself.
Ever since I was little I've always loved the city. Once I step foot in the city, my face lights up and I can't help but smile every second I'm there.
