11 REASONS WHY FALL IS THE BEST BAKING SEASON

It's that time of year again! The air is getting colder and the days are getting cozier. The leaves change from a rich green to a soft yellow, deep red or warm orange. We trade in our short sleeve shirts in for long sleeve sweaters. The fall activities become endless. Nothing describes fall more than the treats. There are endless spices. Apples and pumpkins are officially in. After a hot summer, nothing is better than taking out the baking sheets and using all fall has to offer. Here are some of my favorite fall baking treats. After you see these, it will prove that fall truly is the best baking season.


1. Apple Pie

There is nothing better than making a homemade apple pie after apple picking. The crust decorations are endless and fresh apples during the fall make the slice perfect.


2.Pumpkin Pie

It isn't fall without having a slice of pumpkin pie. It is the perfect ending to Thanksgiving dinner. The sweet bite full of spices is the definition of fall itself.

3.Pumpkin Bread

Whether it's with your morning cup of coffee or after a day of work, pumpkin bread is the perfect start or ending to any day. Sliced fresh out of the oven or even room temperature, pumpkin bread is the perfect bite to fall.

4. Apple Cider Donuts

Whether you make them at home or go to a farm to pick apples or pumpkins, fall isn't complete without apple cider donuts. They are so sweet you can't have just one.

5. Fall Themed Cookies

The possibilities are endless when it comes to baking and decorating cookies!

6. Halloween Themed Cupcakes

Halloween themed cupcakes can make any party and are the perfect edition to fall baking!

7. Candy & Caramel Apples

Can you say that you experienced fall without eating a candy apple? Why go to a fair and get one when you can make them at home...and with super cute decorations!

8. Apple Crisp

Even though it's fall, it's never too cold for ice cream...on top of warm apple crisp!

9. Cranberry Orange Muffins

If you're not a pumpkin lover, then cranberry muffins are the perfect fall treat for you!

10. Pecan Pie

This pie is traditional to any fall dessert. Sweet pecans with flakey crust makes this dessert impossible to go wrong.

11. Fall Spice Cake

All of fall's spices wrapped up into one cake with cream cheese frosting.


So, now that you've seen all my favorite fall treats, get baking and make the most of what fall has to offer!
