Dogs are a man, and woman's, best friend. But why? There are multiple reasons why a dog is literally the BEST animal out there. This list will specify some of the reason why I believe dogs are the best animal anyone could ever ask for.
1. They are always there for you
Dogs will be there whenever you are in trouble. For instance, I can always depend on my dog to come running when she hears me scream about a bug. I scream, and she comes running hoping to help, and usually it results in the death of said bug. Even in an instance not associated with a bug I still believe she would come running if she heard me scream about anything.
2. They are so darn cute
Dogs just have this special ability to be absolutely adorable while doing anything. A little ball of fur jumps in your lap and starts licking you all over, and it is almost impossible not to get an insane amount of feels.
3. Even when they are bad, they are cute
Admit it, you've come home to torn apart trash, poop on the floor, or anything else, but as soon as you look at the guilty face of a dog, all your anger leaves you. You know exactly what they're thinking, “Mommy, all I wanted was the food you threw away, I'm sorry.” And yet you still just give a stern, “Bad dog.” And that is the end of it. It's almost as if it is a superpower dogs have.
4. CUDDLES
Whether you're upset or sick, your dog will always be there to cuddle. Dogs have a special power of making anything wrong okay just by cuddling up to you. Anyone will say that when they are sick the first thing they do is grab their dog and take a nap. There is just something about cuddling a ball of fur that makes you feel better.
5. Service dogs
You can't go out for the day without seeing at least one service dog. Whether it be a seeing eye dog or a therapy dog, they are perfect for people with disabilities. Dogs are easy to train and are one of the most caring animals out there.
6. Good with kids
Dogs are well known for being good with children of any age. Although some dogs may get jealous of a new baby, they eventually warm up to them. You see countless pictures of a child and a dog growing up together and it is the cutest thing you will ever see. No matter what, a dog is a perfect companion for a child.
There are many other reasons dogs are the best companion anyone could ask for. Dogs are kind and gentle, they are the perfect addition to any family. Do not ever wonder if you want a dog, if you even think about getting one, DO IT. They will never let you down and will be the perfect lap dog no matter how big they are.
