Ryan Murphy is better known as the creator of "Glee" and "American Horror Story." However, he graced us with a new satire in Scream Queens. Scream Queens was inspired by Emma Roberts' scene-stealing portrayal of Madison Montgomery in "American Horror Story: Coven."
"Scream Queens" had an all-star cast including Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Niecy Nash, Lea Michelle, Abigail Breslin, Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas. It also introduced some new actors in Nasim Pedrad as Gigi, Lucien Laviscount as Earl Grey, and Billie Lourd as...
You may know Billie Lourd's mother. If not, you missed the way the show paid homage to her throughout its entire season with her wearing of earmuffs. In the last episode, there was no way you didn't get it, she's Carrie Fisher aka Princess Leia's daughter. Debbie Reynold's is also her grandmother, but being Princess Leia's daughter is more interesting.
(Warning: Spoilers Ahead)
While everyone focused on Chanel Oberlin's fast wits and comebacks, Chanel #3 said things along the lines of:
She also made sure that her dead friend, Chanel #2, knew where all of here clothes went just in case she came back to haunt Kappa Kappa Tau wondering where they all went.
When she along with the other Chanel's spoke up to a stranger, whom we assume is a student, when he walked up to the group and began to objectify them.
Her earmuffs complimented each outfit well.
In the very first episode, I knew she would be my favorite when she did this and described how it feels holding anything that isn't my cell phone.
She also described for us what it is like to love someone.
There was that time the pizza delivery man had a bomb that was close to detonating strapped onto his back and she had only one concern.
Then when she was being arrested (while wearing another example of an amazing outfit) she wasn't that mad because the arresting officers were also former male strippers.
Even when she didn't speak. Her facial expressions were easily relatable.
We all could relate to her reaction when her roommate began talking in her sleep.
Finally, we have when Chanel #5 was feeling insecure and that no one would love her, she was there to remind her there is someone out there that would accept here "special conditions" that no matter what #5 says no one will believe without proof
So we raise our glass to Chanel #3 (real name: Sadie Swenson) and we'll enjoy that drink with a side of cotton balls while judging someone else in the room.
