Since I am a diehard fan of all things "Bachelor," ("Bachelor," "Bachelorette," "Bachelor Pad," etc.) here are some couples you probably forgot actually found love and kept it. AKA here are reasons why the Bachelor is about real love stories.
1. Jade and Tanner
Both of these people had to endure losing their individual seasons of "The Bachelor" and "Bachelorette," but managed to fall in love last summer while on "Bachelor Pad." They were a duo from the first day, and at the end of the two month series, Tanner got down on one new and proposed. From their Instagrams to their wedding airing in Valentines Day this year, it is clear that this adorable couple is in it for the long time, and will definitely be setting precedent for the future.
2. Kaitlyn and Shawn
Who could forget Kaitlyn's sparrow tattoos and Shawn's Ryan Gosling look? Not me. This couple had a very tumultuous love story when Kaitlyn had her time as the Bachelorette. With Shawn's rival, Nick, the fighting was all too rule, but in the end, true love won. This couple is currently engaged and have said in multiple interviews that they want to wait a while before getting married because apparently filming for just six weeks for "The Bachelorette" isn't enough.
3. Lacey and Marcus
Can't quite remember this couple? I couldn't either for a moment but then it all came back to me...this duo met on "Bachelor in Paradise," Season 1, then opened that show in the second season but having their televised wedding on the beach where they first met. Marcus always swore up and down that after he got dumped on the Bachelorette that he wouldn't find anyone and would be a self proclaimed "Ladies man". However, Lacey disagreed, and here they are, all married and happy.
4. Desiree and Chris
This couple had a somewhat strange path. It seemed to clear that Desiree was in love with Brooks, however when Brooks abruptly left the show, Desiree had to pick up her own pieces. Ultimately she chose Chris and then to prove to America they were love, they got married. There is a rumor that she might have kids soon with him...time will tell.
5. Sean and Catherine
This pair is arguably the best pair the Bachelor has produced. Flying under the radar the whole season, Catherine swooped in and won Sean's heart. Which led to them staring on Wife Swap and Marriage Bootcamp. This adorable and loving couple is now expecting their first child. Also if you don't follow them both on Instagram, then you are missing you!
6. JP and Ashley
After losing on the Bachelor and ugly crying for a while, Ashley got the change to be the next Bachelorette, ultimately falling on love with JP. This low-key couple prefers to stay out of the spotlight have had a baby since getting married. During their rare appearances on Bachelor episodes, their love for each other really comes through and it is clear that they will last a while.
7. Trisha and Ryan
Throwback to one of the first seasons when these two lovebirds got together. Not only have they stayed happily together, but they have established a life together complete with children and out of the spotlight. They started it all people and are going strong. There three-part wedding mini-series still airs on television sometimes...it's really that good!
