Ranking Disney Princesses

Who has the best happily ever after?

Disney Princesses have been around for generations. With a total of 13 princesses considered a part of the official franchise, I think it's time we see who really wears the glass slipper.

13. Aurora

I'm sure some of you are scratching your heads wondering who this is. Aurora is most often known as Sleeping Beauty -- that's right she has a real name that isn't the title of the movie. She's ranked last because the only significant thing she does in the entire movie is look gorgeous sleeping (and we all know that no one sleeps looking that pretty).

12. Pocahontas

Don't get me wrong -- I actually love Pocahontas. However, she technically isn't a princess. Her father is the chief of a Native American tribe which did not have a royal rule of any sort, and she didn't marry into royalty. I'll give her prop,s though -- her connection with nature is pretty cool.

11. Merida

I love the shoutout to feminism in this movie, but the movie honestly didn't stand out to me. Taking that into regard, the accents are awesome.

10. Jasmine

This Arabian princess is beautiful and her relationship with her pet tiger is extremely cool. However, the movie doesn't really revolve around her character, and she doesn't seem to grow at all by the end of the movie.

9. Elsa

Ok, so "Let It Go" from "Frozen" is probably one of the most famous songs in Disney Princess History, but we never get to really know Elsa other than the fact that she finally learns how to control her powers and kind of let her hair down.

8. Snow White

This girl was the first of them all! There's nothing better than a girl with pale skin friending a bunch of dwarfs. The only issue is that she quickly took food (remember the apple) from a creepy stranger without having the slightest bit of suspicion (come on Snow).

7. Rapunzel

Such a great movie. However, I was kind of bummed her long, blonde hair turned brown when Flynn cut it... Such a shame.

6. Tiana

I thought the "Princess and the Frog" was a great movie. The bayou/cajun theme was a different twist for the Disney Princess Franchise.

5. Ariel

This little mermaid gets herself into a good bit of trouble for a pair of legs. She sings some classic songs, though. Plus, she doesn't let Prince Eric do all the work when it comes to defeats Ursula (YGG!).

4. Belle

Ah, yes. A tale as old as time. The theme of finding beauty on the inside is such a classic. Plus, there's nothing better than talking kitchen supplies and candlesticks.

3. Mulan

Talk about girl power! I can't say I'd ever have the guts to fight in a war with only male soldiers, but this movie is entertaining as well as inspiring. Mulan holds her ground and makes those ancestors proud!

2. Anna

This quirky, confident princess from "Frozen" really relates to adolescent girls everywhere. She's a great reminder that no one is perfect, but as long as you believe in yourself and trust what's in your heart, everything will turn out the way they're supposed to.

1. Cinderella

I mean, how can this princess not be at the top of the list? With an evil stepmother, a glass slipper, and a Prince Charming, she's the most iconic princess around! Plus, she's got an entire castle sitting in the center of Disney World in Orlando.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
