There are always those certain little things in everyday life that make me stop for a second and think, "wow, life is pretty dang beautiful when you think about it." These are the moments that remind me that God is so good and that his plan for my life is even more perfect than I could ever begin to imagine.

To the tune of My Favorite Things from, yep you guessed it, the Sound of Music. A few of MY favorite things!

- Waking up before my alarm so I have more time to sleep

- Discovering a new song that feels like it was written about my life

- Hand-written notes

- Pizza. Always pizza.

- Fresh air

- Morning coffee with a friend

- A good book

- Church on Sunday morning

- Driving at night with my friends and singing Drops of Jupiter at the top of our lungs

- Random moments or people that inspire me in my journey to become a teacher

- Sunrises and sunsets

- Quotes!!!!

- Feeling pride in someone else's accomplishments or successes

- A smile or hug from a kiddo

- John Mayer. Always John Mayer.

- Making other people smile and cheering other people up

- Talks about more than just "going out"

- Ted Talks

- Making new friends

- The overall atmosphere on campus on a sunny day

- Naps

- Comfy sweatshirts and movie nights
