As a female, there are many times that the opposite sex just puzzles me. In college, you pass many different boys with different quirks and different personalities, but I’ve found a few commonalities. We aren't extremely different. We all have our unique selves, but as a whole, men confuse women.
For years, women have had so many questions for men that really do need to be answered. From personal hygiene questions to societal questions, here are the questions all us females have for men.
Why do you wear athletic shorts in the winter?
Aren't you cold? I understand that you're not always into fashion and you can wear whatever you want, but I've always wondered if you were really cold in this kind of attire. I've seen men walking around in shorts and flip-flops in 30-degree weather with a future-cast of snow and it's like it's nothing to you. You have to be cold. I'm sure there's some kind of compromise you can make so that your entire body is warm and not just that small gap between the bottom of your shorts and the top of your socks. I can't really judge you, though, because girls have similar quirks and often where confusing combinations as well, but really I've known so many girls who've asked this question.
How do you get your cologne to last so long?
Personally, I love when a guy smells fantastic, but I've noticed that their scents last extremely long and tend to linger. I don't know if girl's perfume is just weak and not up to par with yours, but seriously how does it last that long? There has to be a technique.
Why don’t you clean your bathroom or apartment in general?
On a serious note, guys do not clean that much or that well. I grew up with a brother and have guy friends, who just don't clean or even own a vacuum!?!? Apart of me wants to clean up the messy space, but unfortunately, every guy needs to learn to do all of the necessary cleaning themselves in order to be the designated adult.
How does the higher wage and income feel?
As a young woman, the worry of the wage gap gets stronger and stronger. Unfortunately, the male race created the wage gap itself, it's not directly your fault, but it still continues to be an issue. No female has known equal pay, therefore I want to know how it feels to have the upper hand with a substantial check. You're the majority or at least you're treated like it in today's society, so it's easier for you to get more money or even justify this situation in general.
How do you walk around aimlessly at night without fear?
Men do not have to be fearful of walking around at night or alone. I've recently asked one of my male friends and he even said that there's nothing to be fearful of. But if you're a woman, there's a long list of things you have to be fearful of in order to stay alive. Personally, I don't like being an open target in a place where anybody could attack or take advantage of me, so how does it feel to live without this kind of anxiety?
