What Type Of Procrastinator Are You?

Get to the bottom of your procrastination struggles. Or, maybe some other time.

When the end of the semester comes around, it's the time when your professors start piling on the work as if you haven't had enough. It can be stressful, so why not just put it off? If this is your mindset, then you, my friend, are a procrastinator. The question is, which type are you?

1. The Perpetuating Procrastinator

People who fall into this category are ones who never get around to doing anything. They always find some way to justify putting a task off until the next day. The Perpetuating Procrastinator often find themselves saying "I don't have the time at the moment, but I'll do that first thing in the morning", or "It's too late to do it now, so I guess I'll just have to do it later".

2. The Perfectionist Procrastinator

This category is for the people who actually get to the task, but have a hard time focusing on what needs to be accomplished. For them, a paper gets written only after the font and text size are just right, the spacing needs to be perfect, the title needs to be properly centered – the list goes on and on.

3. The Counter-Productive Procrastinator

This is the category for whomever finds themselves doing everything except the one thing thing they should be doing. They typically have a list of what they feel should get done first, with things like rearranging their room, or doing chores for the first time since the semester started.

4. The Napper

This one is pretty obvious. Have you ever had so much work to do that you just took it upon yourself to take a nap instead of getting things done and out of the way? Anyone who falls into this category just simply solves their problems with dreams and counting sheep.

If any of these sounds like you, just admit it to yourself; acceptance is the first step toward moving on. Take it from Nike: Just Do It – later.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
