In the good world, we live in, it is hard to image such terrible things occurring. Yet they do. Among these, are such things like terror attacks, and scandals. But many of us find the silver lining within these problematic times.
We start to wonder why these horrors happen, and what causes them to sprout from just minor things into a full-fledged blow problem. Another is why if we have a God who is so loving and peaceful, does he allow things to go on as they do.
But the kicker here is that we are human, and humans are manipulated in ways we don’t even think about. We find that problems stem from certain aspects of life such as violence in the home, or drugs and alcohol. This can be some of the factors in which why these problems go about.
Many times, we overlook these issues because we don’t want to get involved or someone else will take care of it. But in turn, we could have the problem and would want a good Samaritan to aid.
From any point of view, we find that most people will blame the parents for not taking care of their children properly, which is true in some ways, but many the problems lie within their own mind. The aspect of mental illness can also be a factor in these cases and in many times, is the factor.
The mental health cause is not something to overlook as it leads to many people causing these unprecedented crises. Mental Health has been had so much stigma attached to it that most people do not want to think about it. They are still being swept under the rug as problem occur. Why?
Many are not sure, but mostly because people don’t want to talk or do anything about them, and they still suffer a horrible time. People also don’t want to help because they think someone else will step in and aid them and why should they. They can`t be bothered.
So, I ask you, why does such a good world we live in have so many problems? Could it be that if everyone does a bit of good each day help? Could we as a society help others by just taking more time to talk and have dialogue? I think we can. But it would take more than just myself to. I challenge you to talk to at least one person each day you may or may not know because it could just help them feel better about their day.
