A Message To All The Hateful People
USA Today

Yes, I am a 20-year-old woman. Yes, I am educated. Yes, I am a strong proud woman. And no I NEVER supported Hillary Clinton and I never will. I do not agree with most things that she says. I do not agree with how she treats a lot of situations. And I definitely did not want her to be the first female president of the United States.

-I am tired of her supporters calling me racist. Just because I am white and voted for Trump, I am now racist. Well, get this I am tired of being judged for the color of my skin by the people that complain endlessly about being treated differently for the color of their skin.

-I have never once said "Fu*k Hillary," and she has given America thousands of reason to. But a man that gave up his life as being a celebrity billionaire to be ridiculed over and over again for things that aren't even true is having people riot and disrespect his name because they haven't taken the time to do their research.

-The KKK has been active and will continue to be active no matter who is the president of the United States.

-Anyone that can even think about comparing Trump being elected into office to 9/11 needs to read up on their history and learn about what happened on 9/11. I am not sure how the tragic and traumatic death of thousands of people could remotely compare to a man being elected into office.

-If you think that rioting and making a fool of yourself will change the fact that Donald Trump is going to be the President be my guest and do it. Please continue to waste your time and efforts on something that is having zero effect on who the President will be.

-I suffered through 8 long years of President Obama and I never once said he is not my President. Even though I did not like him and I cried both times he was elected I respected the man because he was who this country wanted for some reason. I did not burn flags, I did not threaten to move, I did not lose pride in my country. If that is the 'pride' you have in America then be my guest and pack your bags because We The People do not want you here.

Ultimately we all grieve in our own ways but I don't think casting hate on to your fellow American's is the way to accomplish it.

I am excited to see what Donald Trump will do to make America great again. I am excited to have 4-8 years with a man who is honest. A man who doesn't care about being politically correct. A man who loves his family. A man that people love to be around. A man that will do good for our country. A man who knows how to take a little and make a lot. A man that gave up millions of his own dollars to run a good and clean campaign to show his pride and his excitement on making America great!

Thank you and God Bless America!

P.S. Stop talking about Bernie Sanders- he couldn't win a primary he sure as hell wouldn't have won the presidency.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
