Yeah, some people might think you're dating, but you just laugh at them. Having a guy bestie on your side is a whole lot different than having a gal-pal.
He will actually tell you when you look "fat."
Alright, you might not look fat, but the outfit or picture may not be as flattering as you thought. Let's be real, most of the time when we post a picture on Instagram, it's to impress our followers. If this weren't true, then we wouldn't be posting pictures of ourselves all the time. A guy BFF will straight up tell you whether the picture is āInsta-worthy."
He can tell when the guy you're interested in has the right intentions.
It's always hard to tell the intentions of others, especially in college. Girls and guys will barely ever really get each other, and that's just unfortunately how it is. Girls don't understand what goes on in a dude's head, and we probably never will. A boy-biffle will always tell you what he thinks a guy's true intentions are, no matter how much it might hurt.
He's a great listener.
Guys usually don't enjoy gossiping to the extent we girls do (which, we all know, is a lot), so you can tell your BFF basically anything, and he'll just listen. It's hard to vent to a girl sometimes, because they just interrupt you with their own problem or gossip. My guy best friend always listens to me rant about the same stupid thing every day. He's the only guy I don't mind waking up at 3 a.m. to tell him something I think is so important for him to know that can't wait until the morning (even though 95 percent of the time it could have waited until the morning.)
I never feel judged by him, because he knows the real me.
People make stupid mistakes sometimes, but I know he never judges me by those mistakes. Girls can be very judgmental, so when I need advice on an issue where I know I've messed up, he's the best person to ask for help and advice.
A best friend is a best friend. Just having someone to call your best friend is so reassuring.
Yeah, everyone has their BFFs, but to have such a strong, mutual friendship is a great feeling. Knowing that I mean as much to him as he does to me (which is a lot), just helps us get closer. It allows us to be completely ourselves with each otherāmaking life so fun and easy.
