It's spring break, y'all! And there are a million ways to celebrate it. Some people take off to exotic places with their friends for one last senior hoorah, some people go adventuring in the mountains, some people go home to decompress and spend time with their families, some people rage in Gulf Shores and some people just take some time to bond with their gal pals.
From experience, here are the very best parts of being on an all girls trip this spring break!
1. There's less pressure to have the "perfect bikini body."
Let's face it, everyone feels the pressure of having to be in a swim suit in front of hundreds of other college students. In the weeks preceding spring break, everyone is in a rush to eat clean and lose 20 pounds. But when you're going on a girls trip—who cares?! Your friends know you for the real you, and they don't care if you've got abs or flabs. You're allowed to just be comfortable in your own skin and not feel the need to compare because you know you are all beautiful people with wonderful personalities!
2. You can be as sloppy or as tame as you want and feel no regret.
There's no better feeling than feeling free enough to spend your day on the beach however you want. If you want to read all day and just relax by yourself, you go girl! If you want to turn up in the blazing sun and convince yourself you don't need sunscreen, more power to you! Either way, your girl friends will still love you so much forever, maybe even more because they can appreciate you doing your own thing!
3. You'll have the time to get to know each other even better.
There aren't too many great things about 10-hour long road trips, especially ones that involve the Mobile, Alabama traffic on a Saturday, but if I had to pick a very best part, it would definitely be the extra forced bonding time with my friends. As college students, we are all very busy and definitely have to find the time to just watch TV and relax with our friends. But when you decide to make spring break all about hanging with your gal pals, you've got all the time in the world! Use this time to be bold and really get to know each other beyond their favorite drink and how much they hate their math teacher. You've got a whole week!
