I love Pandora. I think that it's a great way to discover new music to listen to. I love being able to listen to a very specific genre of music based off of a song, artist, or era that I like. There are many Pandora stations that I think I'll like but I end up disliking it (the Avril Lavigne stations when I was going through my Avril phase...), so a good Pandora station is a wonderful find. I love fine-tuning a station until it's nothing less than enjoyable. Listen to these Pandora Radio stations in the car during a summer road trip, while driving to work, at the gym or while just spending a day in the summer sun.

1. Weezer

If you like the pop punk/alternative rock sound of Weezer, along with Sublime, The White Stripes, Green Day, Third Eye Blind, Modest Mouse and Red Hot Chili Peppers, then this station will be great for you.

2. Today's Alternative

I like to keep up on popular alternative music (isn't that a bit of an oxymoron?), and this station is a great way to do it. There's a lot of variety, too, from Arctic Monkeys to Foo Fighters.

3. 80's Dance Parties Most of All

I like '80s music and this station has all of the popular songs from the '80s that are just fun to dance to.

4. Hungry Like The Wolf

Not only does this station play Duran Duran, they also play Eurythmics, Blondie, Cyndi Lauper and The Police. It's a great station to jam to.

5. Joan Jett

Joan Jett makes me feel really punk and her top hits make me feel like head banging. Good, classic rock that isn't necessarily what people think of when they think "classic rock."

6. Halsey

If you like Halsey, Melanie Martinez, Lana Del Ray, Lorde, The Neighborhood, Angus and Julie Stone or Blue Foundation, this station has all of these and more.

7. KONGOS

The KONGOS have had some great hits, and this station has artists like Avicii, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding.

8. Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Trans-Siberian Orchestra does fantastic Christmas music, but if you make sure to select the non-Christmas music station, it will connect you with some really cool instrumental music.

9. '90s Pop

Matchbox Twenty, 3 Doors Down, Semisonic... This is some great stuff.

10. Stressed Out

"Stressed Out" has become a really popular song recently. This station has Milky Chance, Imagine Dragons, Lukas Graham and Cage The Elephant. This station is perfect to rock out to.

Happy listening!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
