Ranks
I will now give my personal rankings on each individual character within each class. Today I will rank two, but normally I will rank a character from all the classes. All characters will be ranked out of 100
Roadhog
This rating might be a little skewed because Roadhog is one of my favorite tank characters to play. The main benefit of Roadhog is his large health pool. 600 HP is the highest of any character in the game. He also deals out massive damage with a shotgun that has both close and medium range damage. Even better he has a chain hook that allows you to pull enemies in from long range. Finally, he can heal himself. In exchange for making himself very vulnerable, RH can recover 300 HP quickly. His biggest downfall is that he is a very large character making him an easy target for many enemies.
Ratings:
Weapons: Shotgun capable of one shot kills at close range. Good damage output at medium range with his secondary fire. Very little long range damage. 23/25
Mobility: Slow, can jump but no other mobility abilities 15/25
Utility: Self Healing is a huge benefit for RH, takes stress of healer. Hook allows RH to really disrupt team battles. 21/25
Ultimate: Whole Hog, Pulls out a medium range, wide spread machine gun that damages and pushes enemies away. Can clear an objective 22/25
OVERALL: 81/100
Ana
Ana is the newest character that has been added to Overwatch. She is a sniper medic who I have enjoyed playing. She heals her teammates by shooting them with healing darts from long range. She also has a health grenade that deals an instant 100 HP of healing followed by a few seconds of enhanced healing. Ana is most effective when she hits a teammate with the grenade and then follows with a shot from her main weapon. Alternatively, when her main weapon hits an enemy, it damages them over time. Her health grenade is similar in that if it hits an enemy it does 100 HP of damage and inhibits all healing for a few seconds. Finally, Ana has a sleep dart capable of putting enemies to sleep for a few seconds or until they are damaged.
Ratings:
Weapons: So so, can deal some damage with a couple of consecutive hits, but for a sniper she should be a little better. 16/25
Mobility: No escape moves, only way to escape is to use your sleep dart 13/25
Utility: Can heal and dish out some damage, very good paired with 19/25
Ultimate: Powers up another teammate. In my opinion, this ability can really be a game changer. If placed on a skilled Reinhardt, this Ultimate can really change the tide of a battle. Doesn't do anything for the Ana player however. 21/25
OVERALL: 69/100
