It's often easier said then done, but if you just be yourself the entire time, your chances will increase.

If you are even the slightest bit human, you have had some type of crush before. Maybe it was a small one, or maybe it was a crush that took over your mind - someone you thought about every second of every day. We've all had a crush that we couldn't be honest with about our feelings - out of embarrassment or even because it would have made your entire relationship awkward. Most people have played the entire situation in their head of what they would say when finally professing their feelings to their crush. We spend days replaying and rewinding of what to say and then editing the kinks and memorizing it so it's just right. But in the end, we don't think about how unnecessary that is. It only stresses us out more, and even causes us to stutter when we encounter them because we didn't remember the exact right words and we start to panic.

We all want to tell our crush right away that we like them, but if you want more luck along the way, it's easier to have already spent quality time with them before you go pouring your feelings out to them. It's easier for them to realize that you're actually feeling something if they can recall awesome memories you have had together. In the end, maybe that will be your source of luck! Going to breakfast or lunch together and having a good conversation can really help your chances.

There are of course a million ways to admit to your crush that you like them. But only some ways are efficient and won't leave you wanting to curl up into a ball. When you want to tell a guy or girl you like them, always be sure that you are being yourself because you don't want them to fall in love with the idea of you, you want them to fall in love with you as a person.

When you are preparing yourself to tell your crush you like them, make sure you go to a place where you know it's possible for them to talk to you honestly. Peer pressure is real, and people may react different if they see their friends or your friends around them. It's easier to be straight up about it when you are trying to tell them, rather than going on and on and leaving them confused. Just be confident in yourself when you are telling the person of your dreams that you have fallen for them.

Whatever happens, just be sure that throughout the entire process, you are 100 percent authentic. If you're authentic, you might be one step closer to having a happy ending.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
