Sometimes I wonder what I would have done if she wasn't placed in my life. I would no be as open to trying new things, write as much as I do or have survived math. I have gotten the pleasure to know her well, know the things she likes, ask her so many questions and all around have a rock solid friend. People come and go, but we have stayed friends and for that I am very appreciative. I hope you stay friends with her for a long time.

Now that we have miles and miles of distance separating us, I can't be there for her but you are. Here is a letter to anyone who becomes friends with my best friend.

I have gotten the pleasure to know her at such a young age. I am undeniably grateful in every way possible that she was put in my life and now she's put into yours. She will give you hours of good laughs, good advice, and anything you could ask for in a friend! Need help with a test you have next class? She's got you. Now you have to be there for her since I am not physically there for her.

She will be one of the most giving girls you will ever meet so don't take advantage of it. Every small thing counts.

She will get to know you the best you allow her to. Ask her questions, she is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. She is a very open book as long as you ask about it first. She knows me inside and out and I know her inside and out. It's the best feeling to know someone is there for you even though you don't tell her what is going on. She knows exactly what to say, or what not to say at the best times. If you are there for each other, you have yourself a great friend.

She will be your biggest supporter. No matter what you do, what you have done, or what you will do: she has your back. I hope you have hers too. Please take care of my best friend since I am not there. I miss her incredibly.

With love,

Han

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
