To a guy, your bros aren't just your best friends.
They aren't just "the brothers who I never had."
They are so much more than that. They are your wingmen, the guys who you share stories with that you can't even tell anyone else about because what you did that night was so illegal, and they are the guys who are there for you no matter what decisions you choose to make, whether they are good or bad.
A bro is somebody who you can always depend on to cover for you. If you ever need anything in the world, you know that your bro can make it happen (or at least try his best). You know that, no matter what poor decision you choose to make in your life, your bro will always be rooting for you no matter how much he knows that you are going to fail. A bro really isn't there to give advice because, well, he is just as unsure about life as you are and will probably end up making a mistake of equal or greater value.
A bro is also a wingman. Being a wingman isn't just being someone who talks his bro up to a girl so that he might possibly have a chance to take the girl out. A wingman is someone who will be by his bro's side if he gets into a fight, or if he says something to screw his chances up with a girl.
A wingman is also there to tell his bro if the girl he is into is completely crazy or not. If one of the guys is striken by love, at least the other guy has a better chance of figuring out if he's talking to a crazy girl or not!
A bro will be there for you at all times, whether you just got dumped by your girlfriend, are in a bit of trouble with the law, or you decide to disturb the peace in the middle of the night and have an epic water balloon fight. A bro is someone who cheers you on in life when everyone else is booing. A bro is so much more than just a best friend or a brother, because he is all of those things in one. I am truly thankful to know that my bros have my back, because they know that I have theirs!
