To my big sister,
A sister is a forever friend. No one can replace her. She is strong, she is brave and she is kind. She speaks words of kindness, and she is always there to have your back. She is your best friend. A big sister is someone that will always be with you when you are having hard times. She will be by your side no matter what you are going through. A little sister is someone who, even though she is littler, is always there to help. She will always look up to you, and she can be a role model for you just like you are to her. Sisters, no matter big or small, will always be there for you. You guys are family.
My sister and I have been through thick and thin. Sure, we have our fights but they make us stronger. I have never once doubted her abilities in this world. She is my role model and my best friend — and I am lucky enough to call her my sister. She is stubborn at times, but who isn’t? She is loyal, trustworthy and always, always, always has my back. She is kind and courageous. She has taught me some of the best lessons in life. My sister is perfect in my eyes.
You have always been there for me, whether it was bailing me out of trouble or getting into it with me. You taught me right from wrong, how to be a better sister and friend, and have always looked out for me in everything that this life has thrown at us. You were my first best friend and will always be. You have taken falls for my actions and stuck through crazy things with me. But you have never left me. I know that even if everything changes in this world, you will always be by my side.
I cannot thank you enough for all that you do. I am lucky to call you my sister. You have made my life hectic at times, but it’s always a blast. We have our little inside jokes and with just one look we know what the other is thinking. Thank you for all the family vacations and sticking up for me. Thank you for always taking me places when I was younger and letting me tag along with your big kid plans. Thank you for letting me be the dorky little sister you sometimes never wanted but always loved.
As we get older, we both are going our separate ways. But we get closer somehow. When your wedding day comes, I’ll be right by your side to face it all because I know you will do the same for me. When we both start new adventures, we will both be there to cheer the other person on. If I ever need someone who gets me 100 percent, I know you are one call away.
