Hi reader,

I joined the Odyssey because I wanted to write. I'm a journalism major who was too afraid to approach writing about Stony Brook news for Stony Brook press groups. But I love writing always have always will.

The Odyssey has been a place that has equally shocked me and taught me. Shocked because some writers write outrageous articles that somehow go viral and taught me that sometimes no matter how much time goes into your writing, it will sometimes go unread. But after this, I learned not to lose faith in what I love to do the most.

I won't stop writing even though I'll no longer be an Odyssey creator.

I won't let discouragement, writer's block, or even self-doubt stop me.

I won't let my introversion stop me from sharing my writing with the rest of the world.

I want to thank everyone who's taken the time to read my articles, share them, laugh at them: it means the world to me. This isn't the end of my time as a writer.
