Dear Big,
I am sorry to tell you this, but you are officially a Grand Big.
The time has come for me to take a Little. I know it seems like it has been such a short amount of time since I got you, but I think I am ready. You have taught me how to care for someone like a sister, even though I have only known them for a few weeks. You taught me how to be a role model and exactly what it means to be a sorority girl. You have been there for me for all of my new experiences and sometimes figuring everything out together. I will be a constant support system and a friendly face for my Little just like you were for me. I will cheer you both on in whatever you choose to do.
Our family outings will be even more fun with our perfect little addition. She will look up to you just as I have done and will love you just as much. Do not worry, there is no way I can forget about you or all that you have done for me. It's a good thing you have two shoulders so that me and my little will be able to cry on them together.
She is so like you, it's ridiculous, which will make it even easier for me to love her. Not only is she obsessed with Beyonce, but I also know she will be one of my favorite people. Just think about all the fun we will have going out to frat parties and then morning diner runs altogether. To be honest, the amount of Instagram potential is endless. She has no idea how lucky she is to come into a family that already has so much love for her.
Thank you for being there for me through this whole process. Not exactly with crafting (even though yours were so awesome), but with you and Grand Big’s motivational texts and constant support. You both reassured me that I would be able to be just a good a Big as you and the rest of our family were to me. Everyday of this past week made me think of all that you had done for me during Big/Little week just a year ago. Everything you did was so thoughtful and made me feel like the luckiest girl in Phi Sig. That was the week I knew I wanted to become a Big and give my Little all the things you have given me.
I know you know how excited I am to get a Little, but that is only because you have taught me how to be a perfect Big.
Expand The Fam 2k16 was most definitely a success.
