Being a girl and having a guy—or multiple guys—to call your best friend is such a great blessing. They help you get into the mind of the boy you like and help you realize things you don't want to. Meaning, they shed light on certain situations and perspectives that allow us to understand things more. We so often forget to thank them for all they do for us. You guys make our worlds go round and without you, we would be lost.

Dear Best Guy Friend,

Thank you for picking me up when I'm down. You don't ask for anything in return and always know just what to say to make everything better. You have my back when I don't ask for you to. You listen to me vent and complain about boys you don't care about, but still offer advice because you know I am so lost when it comes to talking to guys. You help construct my replies to guys that I like and for that I am forever grateful.

Thank you for letting me look like a bum, burp and act like a slob in front of you. You see me wipe my hands on my clothes after eating wings or ribs, and you don't grimace or tell me to act like a lady. You taught me how to play Madden and still play with me, even though we all know I suck. You let me be one of the guys and initiate me into the squad as an honorary bro. You help cancel out the crazy in me and teach me how to be chill.

Thank you for keeping up with my crazy mood swings, because no one in their right mind could ever do that. I know I can get annoying and irritable, but you just roll with the punches and know how to handle me at my worst. You don't make fun of me (too much) when I'm angry or upset over something stupid.

Thank you for stalking every guy I have ever talked to or wanted to talk to. You make sure this guy is not only compatible with me but you as well because your opinion means the world to me and I take it very seriously.

Thank you for being the best friend that you can possibly be to me. I know I'm not always a ray of sunshine, but you treat me like I am—and for that I am forever grateful for your presence in my life. I love you more than all the pizza and wings in the world.
